Banks Lee at Attractions Magazine is reporting that the Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has gotten its first major update since Kylo Ren joined the show. This new version cuts much of the introductory back-story between the Jedi Master and assistant, “cutting to the chase,” so to speak, much more quickly. But in addition to the narrative shift, the show also gets a major character change. The Star Wars Rebels villain The Seventh Sister has been removed from the show. Kylo Ren now appears in roughly the same spot in the show that the Seventh Sister did, and Darth Vader has returned as a more substantive participant in the show. This version also marks the first time that Kylo Ren and Darth Vader appear together at Walt Disney World. (Though according to the story of the Trials of the Temple, neither is actually appearing in the show. The versions that we see are simply manifestations of the fears of the young padawans training at the Temple).
I know that for my kids, Jedi Training in all its forms has always been a must-do, though neither of my kids were really fans of the Seventh Sister character. Will these show changes have an impact on your children’s desire to participate in the show?
