Disney Dining Plans 2019 - 50s Prime Time CaféWalt Disney World® Resort vacation packages for calendar year 2019 were released for booking this past Tuesday, June 19, 2018 (subject, as always, to Disney’s policy that bookings can be made a maximum of 499 days in advance). With these new packages came a small price adjustment to the children’s prices on all of the dining plan options. Adult prices remain unchanged (so far – the usual time that we see adjustments in dining plan pricing are in tandem with ticket price increase announcements, which have been coming in February for the last few years). Alcoholic beverages continue to be offered as a beverage option for adults when using a dining plan credit to purchase their meal, if they’re offered at the location. And as of this past May, all Magic Kingdom table service restaurants have alcoholic beverage options. Quick service restaurants in Magic Kingdom continue to be alcohol free. For those under 21 years old, specialty beverages like milkshakes and smoothies are available as an alternative to alcoholic beverages.

Any of the three dining plans can be added to a Walt Disney World® Resort hotel room reservation. A “package” has traditionally included a room and theme park tickets, with a dining plan considered an additional option. It is, however, possible to construct a package that includes a Walt Disney World Resort hotel room reservation and dining plan, with no tickets. But however the package is constructed, in order to be eligible to purchase a dining plan, you must have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation.
